Lukpilla Brakk is granite tower which is located in the mountain ridge between Uzum Brakk Glacier and Biafo Glacier. The stunning spire of Lukilla Brakk (5380m) as seen during Biafo Hisper Snow Lake trek near Marphogoro. Altitude of summit is rather small (for Karakoram) from base it looks like a stunning spire.

Lukpilla Brakk 5380m Expedition

Mountain is made by two different types of granite. Lower part is from untypical (but solid) darkreg granite. Which probably gives name for the place called “Marpo” (in balti language it means red). Biafo glacier is in open zone (and Lukpilla Brakk is below 6500m). You don’t need climbing permit.
