Biafo Hisper and snow lake trek is one of the most popular trekking route in Karakoram Range Pakistan. Pass through two regions of Gilgit Baltistan, linking Shiar valley to Hunza balley and open up a challenging trekking trail to entire Biafo lacier reaching the zenith at Hispar La pass, whilst still preserving the region’s heritage. Biafo Hispar & snow lake trek is a third longest trek route outside of the Polar Regions.This route was extensively used to connect the Silk Route with the Indian Sub-continent, China and Tibet. Mr. H. W. Tilman, an English trekker claimed in 1937 that he had seen the footprints of Yeti on the glacier. The same way used to serve the people of Hunza to invade Askoli, which later served as a more progressive way between Hunza and Askoli as the people of Hunza came over to Askoli to play POLO with the people of Askoli. Here one can observe the rare species of animals in abundance like snow leopards, Himalayan bears, Ibex, Markhore and sometimes the Marco polo Sheep.
